How much are you worths?




In marketing up till today I still marvel on how the marketing grandmasters come to conclusion on what a premium or low end brands should be and how they also managed to place values on such products.

Another one that always dazzles me is how God Almighty made such a fantastic decision on making most things like the air we breathe that should ordinarily cost us zillions of dollars and made them absolutely free for humanity. He made sure that valuable resources are not just where they will be seeing and touched just by anybody. 

If you want diamond or petrol for instance you just don’t dig the ground as if you want ordinary water from borehole or well which you can get in some area with about 900meters below the sea level.

For you to get these valuables which are placed within the premium products by God and men, you have to use high end technologies and machines to drill most times 5000 meters below the sea level and they must also be refined with high technological processes. 

The high premium brands can not be found ordinary street shops but in high end and sophisticated classy stores for the few people who put so much attention on details who can afford the premium brands created by God and reshaped by man.


I am quite sure that God is a Grand Marketing Master having placed premium on some resources and some resources as low end.  I hope I’m not confusing you yet, I’m not insinuating that the low end products are not valuable but aside that they are most times not very expensive like the premium brands they also perish within shortest period of time. Just imagine oranges and pineapples they have fantastic nutritional values to our bodies and contribute immensely to our well being but they can be seen, touched by everybody at anytime and hey they can’t last more than 2 weeks! 

I’m sure you will be wondering what is she talking about , has she turn to a marketer? please before you draw your conclusion about my state of mind because I’m also asking myself this question. One thing I’m very certain about is that when you are through with this you’ll probably have an idea of where I’m going to, but you need to be a bit patient with me to understand where this journey will end, trust me I must thank you for deciding to read a bit further.

Every man and woman has a value or worth place on themselves by themselves before anybody can buy into this self made product. Every man has got a price!

My girlfriends, I think we need to do some sisterly talk now or should I say that we at the crossroad where we must ask ourselves some heart’s striking questions, I believe your guess is as good as mine. How much are you worth, what type of brand are you, what price tag did you attach to yourself as a brand, what shop do you want to be found and what type of customers do you want to be found in their hands?

I’m not preaching to you neither I’m telling you to become arrogant, pompous and unavailable to people who want you. But in the current trend of fast lanes in which we all found ourselves in order to proof how sophisticated we are in the way we dress, speak, the gadgets we carry, the places we have been and the people we associate with. My gal, you can set the tone of your life without totally streaming with the flow of the 21st century’s trend.

For you to be a premium brand is not about your self-packaging alone because if that’s the only thing you are after, you will be surprise at the rate with which the people whom you’ve attracted by the colorful factors and attributes will drop you like a plague. 

Build yourself from within so that your inner factors will automatically place you at an advantage vintage position from your pair not by relying on one old man who is old enough to be your grandfather whose daughters are in one of the best universities abroad. He is only after what you can offer to massage his ego in exchange for few peanuts or trips you could afford on merit if you are focus by refining yourself for greatness so that you will be placed amongst other gems in high street shops where people who value such qualities will pay anything to have and touch you with their hand of purity.

Cherie, constantly add value to yourself in different areas in which you know you have potentials because it will serve as your unique selling points (USP), that’s what you should be ready to sell. Your jewelries, cloths, bags and all other accessories will fade with time and fashion trends because no trend can last more than a decade, but one thing I’m sure will not fade away is your values, morals, intellect, dignity and poise.

Do yourself a great favour by not allowing all the Y factors in you to lose their glittering because for them to be shinning all the time and to always attract the best of customers with good price is that you must make an effort to shine them all at all time.
